If you've uploaded a pic and it appears upside-down (or any other orientation) this is due to your phone's auto rotate feature.

Pics taken with a camera or phone are saved in the orientation they are taken, with some extra data added by your device that tells the device how to display it. MV only receives the master file, without the extra data. This is the reason why pictures might upload sideways or upside down.

There is an easy solution to this though! 

All you have to do is take the pic and upload or edit it using a trusted photo editor. In the editor, just rotate the photo to the correct side (this may mean rotating it on all sides starting from the upright position back to the correct position) and hit <Save> or  <Save As>. Make sure that saving Exif data is selected if the option is available. This should save the file in the correct orientation and will show once uploaded to the site!
